TAMPA, Fla. — The Winnipeg Jets lost 3-0 to Washington on Saturday and will now head out onto the road for four games; Cam Hildebrand scored a hat-trick as the Raiders ripped Transcona 12-1 in Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League action; Justin Dalebozik had a hat-trick as Steinbach walloped Waywayseecappo 7-0 in the final Sunday of MJHL action and the semifinal opened in the Keystone Junior Hockey League. It was a busy, busy Sunday in Manitoba hockey.
Let’s start with the National Hockey League…
The Winnipeg Jets, coming off a 3-0 loss at home to the Washington Capitals on Saturday, are back out on the road and will play in Florida tomorrow night, Tampa on Thursday night, Florida on Friday night and in New Jersey on Sunday.
The 10-10-1 Jets are in second place behind Carolina in the Southeast Division and ninth in the Eastern Conference. The Jets, who have won five of their last seven, will play again tomorrow night in Sunrise, Fla., against the Florida Panthers at 6:30 on TSN Jets TV. NCI will be there live.

Chicago 2 Detroit 1 (SO)
Patrick Kane scored with 2:02 left to play in regulation to send the game to overtime and then scored the winner in the shootout. The 19-0-3 Hawks have now gone 22 games off the start of the season with at least a point in every game.
Montreal 4 Boston 3
David Desharnais second goal of the game was the winner as Montreal scored two unanswered in the third to come back and win it.
Carolina 3 Florida 2
First place Carolina moved four points ahead of the Jets in the Southeast Division. Jordan Staal scored the eventual winning goal. Jonathan Huberdeau had a pair of goals for the Panthers.
NY Islanders 3 Ottawa 2 (SO)
John Tavares scored the shootout winner.
Calgary 4 Vancouver 2
The Flames scored two unanswered in the third to win it. Jarome Iginmla scored the eventual winning goal and Daniel Taylor made 29 saves for his first NHL win in the Flames net.
Minnesota 4 Edmonton 2
Mikko Koivu had a goal and two assists as the Wild scored three in the third to win it.
Dallas 4 St. Louis 1
Derek Roy had a goal and two assists to lead Dallas.
Columbus 2 Colorado 1 (OT)
Artem Anisimov scored the OT winner on the power play.
NY Rangers 3 Buffalo 2 (SO)
Rick Nash had a goal and an assist and Ryan Callahan scored the winner in the shootout.
There are four games in the NHL tonight: New Jersey is at Toronto; Tampa Bay is at Pittsburgh at 6:30 on TSN 2; Anaheim is at Phoenix; and Nashville is at Los Angeles.
There were three games in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League last night: Warren Callis and Taeron Lewis had two goals each as the Blues whipped Portage 6-2; Justin Dalebozik had the hat-trick as Steinbach shut out Waywayseecappo 7-0; and Winkler scored two late goals to come back and beat Selkirk 4-3. There is one game remaining in the regular season, tomorrow night, Swan Valley plays at Waywayseecappo, then the best-of-seven quarterfinals start: In the Sher-Wood, Wayway opens at Dauphin on Thursday night and Swan Valley opens at OCN on Friday night. The Addison Division playoff schedule has yet to be announced but the Blues will play Winkler and Steinbach will meet Portage. It’s the first ever playoff appearance for the Steinbach Pistons.

The Regina Pats beat the Brandon What Kings 4-3 in a shootout in Regina last night. The 22-38-4-3 Wheaties play again on Friday night against the Edmonton Oil Kings, 7:30 at Westman Place in Brandon.
MANITOBA TRIPLE A MIDGET LEAGUE
There were no games in the Manitoba Triple A Midget Hockey League playoffs last night and none until Wednesday when the semifinals open with Pembina Valley at the Winnipeg Wild; and the Winnipeg Thrashers at Brandon.
MANITOBA MAJOR JUNIOR HOCKEY LEAGUE
There were five games in the Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League last night: Jory Coates had two goals and two assists as Pembina Valley beat Stonewall 4-2; River East beat St. James 5-4 in overtime; Charleswood dumped St. Vital 3-1; Cam Hildebrand had the hat-trick as the Raiders ripped Transcona 12-1; and the Twins beat St. Boniface 5-2. The final game of the season goes tomorrow night with St. Vital at Charleswood.
KEYSTONE JUNIOR B HOCKEY
There were two games in the Keystone Jr. B Hockey League semifinals last night: Patrick Denis had a goal and an assist as Arborg beat Selkirk 2-1 to tie that series at 1-1 and Peguis beat St. Malo 4-1 to take a 1-0 series lead. No games again until Friday when both series return to action.
