MHN is Here. Spectacular Magazine at Most Manitoba Rinks

The inaugural edition of Manitoba Hockey News has hit the rinks and news stands and the early response has been overwhelming.

The first edition features¬†stories by Scott Billeck about Jayce Hawryluk, Nolan Patrick, Jermaine Loewen and Brett Howden. Paul Edmonds checks in with Parker Thomas and T. Kent Morgan tells us what’s going on with our Hall of Famers. As well, patti dawn swansson will give us a view of the Jets you won’t get anywhere else and Scott Taylor has our cover story on Zach Bogosian, introduces you to Bisons captain Dane Crowley and will also also look closely at two local stars trying to make headway in the Jets organization — Jason Kasdorf and Peter Stoykewich.

The most important part of the magazine, however, is the photography. Shawn Coates, James Carey Lauder and Jeff Miller will provide the best hockey photography in the province and in the inaugural issue features some sensational shots of Crowley, Howden, Patrick, Bogosian and Hawryluk.

MHN will offer what no other publication does in Manitoba. We’ll look at the young players who are tomorrow’s stars. Whether it’s a bright up-and-coming peewee star, or the players from Hockey Manitoba’s Program of Excellence, we’ll have you covered with stories that matter to both the players and parents alike.

As well, we are proud to bring  you coverage of the Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League, the Western Hockey League, and the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League.

The Manitoba Hockey News will be your home for the most comprehensive coverage of hockey anywhere in Manitoba. You can pick up your copy at CanLan Ice Sports, Gateway Arena, Richard Burr Fitness, The Rink, McDole’s Gym and many other outlets throughout Manitoba.
